Button Faeries

Supplies:

• Faerie Song Faerie Images
• Memories Black Dye Ink Pad
• Sharpie Markers - Various Colors
• Marvy Markers - Various Colors
• Gel Pens - Metallic Silver, Gold and Rose
• Scissors
• 26 gage Craft Wire
• Pliers
• Buttons!!
• Hot Glue Gun
• Card Stock - Neutral tones

Directions:

1. Choose Faerie Stamps that have good wings and upper torsos! You could also use seperate wings and add them to a Faerie (or non-fairy) image.
2. Stamp your Faerie on neutral colored card stock using black ink (or your choice of colors).
3. Color your Faeries upper half however you choose. I used Markers and Gel pens. You could use any medium you like to work with!!
4. Cut out the Faerie head, torso, wings and arms. You will not need her legs. The buttons become her bottom half!! : )
5. Choose your buttons. Lay out your Faerie and choose buttons that fit to her size and coloring.
6. Cut a length of wire long enough to have a loop at the top of the Faerie's head (for hanging) and long enough to go all the way down the length of your buttons....with a bit on the end for a spiral if you wish.
7. Thread your buttons onto your wire.
8. Hot glue the wire to the back of the Faerie.
9. Cut out a small piece of matching color card stock to glue to the back of your Button Faerie, to cover up the wire.
10. That's it!! You are done!!! : ) The possibilities are endless. Let your imagination guide you, and please share your creations!! I would love to see them!!
