Her professional art career began in the United States Air Force where she served for 4 years as a graphic artist stationed at Hickam Air Force Base in Hawaii. She moved to Southern California following her military duty and began working as a graphic artist in the corporate world for 10 years. During this time Michelle recieved her Bachelors of Fine Art degree from Cal State Fullerton, majoring in Illustration. Some of the artists who inspired Michelle's current style while in art school are; Patience Brewster, Mary Engelbreit, Kay Nielsen, Al Hirshfeld, James Christansen, Harry Clarke, Aubrey Beardsley and Botticelli. In 2004, Michelle began her "world of enchantment and inspiration", a line of fairies, mermaids, goddesses and their enchanted inspiration quotes that Michelle writes herself. Her work has been seen in Giftware News, Faerie Magazine and at the Los Angeles and San Fransisco Gift Shows and the New York Stationery Show. In 2009 she began designing rubber stamps and is looking forward to even more adventures with her enchanted art.
