Once Upon A Time Dragon Song Ornament

Materials:

2 Micro slides • 1 Micro Slide Mailer Halo Blue Gold Lumiere • Gold Lumiere 1 S-Swirl clip • 1 small round swirl clip • 1 Split Ring Jewelry pliers • 1 old dangle earring Gold Embossing powder • Heat gun • Red & orange stickles Alcohol ink-Butterscotch • Alcohol blending solution Brilliance - Moonlight White ink pad • Versa Mark pad and pen Gold Leafing pen • Red Sharpie ultra fine marker Stazon ink pad - Black • 10” piece of gold cording Diamond Glaze • Green and orange markers • Holographic tissue. Directions:

Slide

1. Using one Micro slide, drop a few drops of Butterscotch Alcohol ink on slide, add a drop of alcohol blending solution. Tilt slide and let flow around until you get desired effect. 2. Stamp dragon on Staff onto the top of the same slide with black Stazon ink. 3. Fill in staff with Gold Leafing Pen. 4. Color in dragon with green marker, using several coats until desired effect is achieved. Make sure to dry between coats. Color in the globe on the staff with red marker. Apply red stickles on top of globe and orange stickles on fins along the dragon. Set aside to dry. 5. Draw in fire from dragons mouth with red Sharpie marker. 6. Make a ball of the holographic tissue. Flatten out. Tear to make 2 small pieces that will be glued with diamond glaze, at the top and bottom of the slide. 7. Glue both slides together with Diamond Glaze. 8. Glue small round swirl clip to top. 9. After all is dry, attach the 10” piece of gold cording to the small round swirl clip at the top.

Slide Mailer: (see picture at top of page)

1. Paint the inside slot where the slide will go with Gold Lumiere, and the outside and remainder of the inside with the Halo Gold Lumiere.
2. Stamp a dragon from the Dragon Song plate in lower portion and slightly to the left and “Once Upon A Time” in the upper section, with Versa Mark. Sprinkle with Gold Embossing powder and activate with heat gun.
3. Use Red Stickles along the inner portions of the dragon. Allow to dry.
4. Stamp “Live in the Present,... saying inside, on the left at a 45 degree angle in upper section. Some of it will run off of the mailer.
5. Stamp tucked dragon on lower left side under the saying, with Versa Mark. Apply Gold Embossing powder and activate with heat gun.
6. Apply a longer torn portion of the crumpled holographic tissue at a 45 degree angle across front, around and through the inside portion.
7. Using Versa Mark pen make some highlights around the inside slot and outside edges then apply Gold Embossing powd er. Activate with your heat gun.

Closure:

1. Take the S-swirl clip and the Jewelry pliers. Using the pliers bend out the center of the large end in the S-clip. Measure side of the mailer and make another bend the opposite way in the clip. 2. Attach the Split ring to the top of an old dangle earring and attach to the center of the small end of the S-clip. Place around the slide mailer and adjust as needed. You want it tight enough it wont come off, but not too tight, so it will break the slide inside.
