Pillow for inside (Optional)
Purple Silk, small piece of contrasting ribbon and stuffing for pillow
Instructions:
Paint the box and wooden stars with white opaque paint. This may take multiple coats. Allow to dry after each coat.
Cut: 2 - 1 ½ x 4 ¼ inch : 2 - 1 ½ x 6 inch: 2 - 4 x 5 ½ inch pieces out of Pearlescent stock. (Sizes may vary according to the size of the box you have chosen.)
Use the Cuttlebug and Swirl folder to emboss the Pearlescent stock.
Punch corners of the Pearlescent stock.
Using a direct to paper technique, run Distress Ink lightly over top of these pieces. Lay to the side. Allow to dry.
Stamp Monique on white card stock and use markers to fill her in as you prefer. Cut out close to edges.
Paint the stars with the yellow paint. Sides and top.
Finish preparing the box by using a sponge paint brush and daubing glitter paint over total box. I did inside and outside. Use the same daubing technique to do the stars on the sides and top, and Monique’s wings and wand. Allow to dry.
Attach Pearlescent card stock to sides , top and inside the lid of your box.
Make small dots with Stickles in various areas around the pearlescent card stock. (Top and sides). Allow to dry.
Attach Monique to box with PVA glue.
Attach the wooden stars in semi-circle (on top) and plugs (on bottom 4 corners for little legs) with E-6000 glue.
Finish up by cutting out, stitching and stuffing your pillow, to fit inside of your box. Apply ribbon and tie in a bow.
You are now ready for sweet dreams of the tooth fairy world.
