Magical Dreamer Gift Bag
Materials:
• FS-3md - Magical Dreamer stamp • FS-3080 - Camilla stamp
• Craft mat • Glue gun
• Write n Rub Glue Pen • Glue stick
• 1 paper bag • Beaded fibers
• Glitter of choice - ultra fine. • 1 sheet 12 x 12 textured or printed paper
• 1 Color Box Cats Eye ink pad- Merlot
• Brilliance - Archival pigment ink pad - Moonlight White
Directions:
Prepare to stamp by putting the craft mat between the folded bottom and the main portion of the bag. (This helps you make a good imprint)
Using the Moonlight White ink pad, stamp Camilla about 3 to 4 inches from the bottom of the bag. (Make sure you are on the craft mat.)
Let dry. Fold bottom of bag to reverse side, and repeat directions 1 and 2.
Now stamp the Magical Dreamer word stamp centered along the bottom, between the Camilla image and the bottom of the bag. Let dry and repeat on reverse side.
Take Glue pen and outline Camilla and Magical Dreamer words. Allow to dry. This type of glue pen dries sticky. Cool stuff.
Use finger and dip into glitter. Now just rub onto all places where there is glue. Applying more glitter as needed for full coverage.
Take paper and tear, across the widest point, 2 larger strips to fit your bag, and 6 narrower strips. (Length counts here, so keep all the length you can.) Set aside remaining portions of paper.
Use the Cats Eye in a direct to paper technique, along the edges of the smaller strips.
Use glue stick and glue large strips caddy corner, from mid top to the sides, on front and back.
Glue the 3 smaller strips in the opposite direction, approximately a quarter to a half inch apart, Start this application around the base of the handle of the right side of the bag. Repeat for reverse side.
Now use the remaining parts of paper stock to finish out the parts that went around the sides. (This gives the bag a more finished look)
Finish up by using the glue gun to run a small 2 inch bead of glue at top of bag. Apply Beaded fibers. (The trick here is to not do too much area at once. The glue could dry too fast or you can get nasty little burns from trying to hurry.) Keep applying small increments of glue and beading until the circumference of the bag has been finished. Overlap a small bit of the beaded fiber.
You are now ready to use your lovely bag for any occasion. You can use the leftover paper pieces to make a matching card, tag or accessory of choice.
