By Cheryl Davidson
SUPPLIES:
Black cardstock cut to 6" x 10"
2 textured cardstock pieces
watercolor pencils
Sakura glaze pens
Jewel stickers
EK Success Baby Face Epoxy Stickers
Embossing powder (Confetti Opaque - Sparkle N Sprinkle)
Versamark or clear embossing ink
Black waterproof ink
Ink to match the color of embossing powder
Heat Gun
Double-sided tape
Glue dots or PVA glue
Foam tape or pop dots
Color wizard and staff with watercolor pencil. Color the dragon with green and yellow Sakura glaze pens. When dry, cut the image out closely.
Tear one of the textured cardstock or paper to resemble a flame. Make sure that it is large enough to extend out from the wizard image. Use ink to color the edges of the torn paper.
On the textured cardstock that you will be using for your background, rub with versamark and emboss with embossing powder.
If your image is dry, attach jewel stickers to the top of the wizard's staff and one for the eye of the dragon. Cover the crystal ball with one of the round epoxy stickers.
Layer as shown. Adhere the wizard image with pop dots. You will have to use something other that tape to adhere the torn paper to the embossed layer in order for it to stick.
Fold the black cardstock so that you have a 5" x 6" card. Use double-sided tape to adhere the last layer.
